By:
Hey LIH have you gone over to Ascot??
By:
no MP - out of season or something when i was over there - should have visited the course but didnt
By:
Rain on BCs parade?
WhatchootalkinboutWillis? Have the heavens opened..and settled in? |

As I said elsewhere you need rocks in your head to take $1.30 about any horse having their first start in wet conditions, let alone another country as well.
If it's dry I'll be jumping on along with everyone else. If it's wet stay right away. At $1.30 you can't afford to have any queries or doubts. |
By:
luke didnt have any queries reckons she goes just as well if not better when interviewed by Bruce clarke yesterday
By:
That is completely standard. All trainers, especially of favourites, are optimistic about everything before the race. She would be awesome running backwards or underwater, anything you can think of. It's just they way they are.
Afterwards, if she gets beat, then things come out. |
By:
And jockeys too, obviously. Nobody admits to weakness unless it's completely undeniable.
By:
He said she trialled on a bottomless one day at Cranbourne and handled it beautifully and he said she has worked on very heavy tracks at Caulfield and again had no issue with it whatsoever, they're sprinters are walkers and the best local Bated Breath hates it.

By:
barrier 15 of 15...hope the side of the track she's on..isn't off

By:
what would anyone rate this race compared to her other wins?
like on form is this race a bit like the BTC cup, newmarket etc or harder? |
By:
That is one ugly f*cking dog in your little pic there LIH. Do you have the misfortune and SHAME of owning that little booger?
By:
yes - the other has just had surgery
By:
If the other one is as ugly as this one I wouldn't bother with the surgery. Unless it was plastic surgery to improve it's appearance.
By:
What breed can that thing best be described as?
By:
not noice - my best mates
By:
foxie/jack russel/chuihua
By:
happy day of birth LIH
By:
thanks loggy
By:
Must be the chihauha part making him ugly! Anyway, just f*cking around. Hey is it your birthday?
By:
yeah me to.
yes its my b'day did you know that youre 14% more likely to die on your birthday than any other day/ |
By:
14%?? Sounds high. You don't currently have a loaded pistol in your mouth do ya LIH??
Anyway happy 63rd birthday. Don't become a burden on your children. |
By:
no where 63
but think about it - i explained it to my daughter as were out getting a birthday takeaway - if we had a smash and i was killed it would be because of my birthday - or if i choked to death on a bone in the fish, it would be due to my birthday. and thats not even thinking about the birthday blues where people become depressed on their birthdays becasue no one gives a **** |
By:
best wishes
regardless ... do NOT be reckless ... for the next 364 days |
By:
Or they have a huge amount of booze and unidentified pills and never wake up on the floor of a transsexual hooker's f*ckpad.
Just sayin'. It's gotta be better than a fishbone. |
By:
thanks thebas - but its the 6 weeks before and after a birthday when great happiness or extreme sorrow can happen
By:
thats very true DA - celebrating a birthday to extreme can have sever consequences
By:
Just do what I do. I don't acknowledge my own birthday. I mean, who cares? Birthdays are for kids. After 12 there's 21 then so what? My mother in law,who is at least 174 years old demands a huge fuss and expensive presents be bought for her frequent and endless birthdays. I can't stand it. Who cares about some old bag's birthday. FFS just DIE you old BITCH. No one likes you. No one gives a F*CK about your 174th birthday.
By:
will she leave you anything?
like a house or money? if so, ****n grin and bear it |
By:
bathed breath OUT.
By:
BATED* FFS.
By:
that was a main chance wasnt it?
By:
Of course not. Do you think I would speak about a lovely old lady like that if she had a house?
By:
bated breath was the uks best chance of beating her seemingly but connections are running in a diff race now, prob wisely as unless she underperforms (which is possible) they cant beat her.
i personally hope she obliterates the field winning by a cosy 6L, that would be incred. |
By:
are you 'over there'?
is it raining yet at ascot? |
By:
It hasnt stopped raining since the early hours of this morning!
By:
it's a myth about her not handling the wet, the breed gets through it
she's won just as good on a heavy 10 in a trial, I know it was a trial but still, it didn't hamper her at all people are clutching at straws here she will bolt up and please Luke, LET HER GO. |
By:
im in ireland but yes its raining at the mo there, nothing too bad, good to soft at the mo. i dont think ground will be too much of a prob tbh, in fact i find big horses go thru the mud better than smaller ones. i know it doesnt always work that way, pedigrees etc but moody says shes fine in it so..
By:
Been raining on and off here today, ground looks pretty wet on the round course, but much better on the straight.
Forecast isnt great for tomorrow, but Ascot seems to drain pretty well so shouldnt be bottomless. |
