Yes showgrounds finished in Dec 1980 . MV & Showgrounds from Oct 76 till Dec 1980 mainly MV towards the end with Showgrounds having about 11 meetings in 1980

What he did in Qld was something that trotters will never do again. He beat horses the equivalent of Blacks A Fake Mr Feelgood Im Themightyquinn etc. A freak and a once in a lifetime horse

Never knew they used to race the other way in QLD.
It was not in my Time was The Horse that good or nothing around? Amazing Wins. Id never Pot Champ? I started getting Involved when Another Bart, Rivelea Jack, Almeata Boy, Rufus Young Blood. And Chris Gleason where going around. Id take my $20 sneak in where the horses entered every week. Box Quinellas 3 horses some times 4 for 50c. Every week for years. Also got in trouble one time when i placed some Large Bets for somebody else when i was 16 and i never gave them in. They had me in a Room for an hour saying i was going to Jail tried everything to get me to say who i placed the Bets for. I said it was for me. Ill tell you the name of the Horse Diggers Neptune 1st Start at the Valley. Got a very nice sling out of it as well. Lloydy |

 Not sure how you got it. I know all the Channell Seven stuff has been burnt to a cinder. Poppy and Maori's Idol,and Gammalite clips never to be seen again.Sad .. But obviuosly there are still the odd clip floating around.A few interstate clips, and others.But most are in ashes.. |
