A lot of stupid dogs going around lately without any track sense causing all the interference for mine.

A leading breeder and his family have reared some very good dogs, on semi-cleared land. I asked if he ever worried about dogs hitting tree's, and he replied he'd never seen a good dog hit a tree yet.
There are too many dogs reared in dead flat, narrow runs that never learn to change stride whilst in full flight. Wheelers new property has he says 20 acre paddocks in which dogs are put into every 2nd day, and most of his dogs know how to duck and weave under pressure in a field. |

Would also like to know the stats for each track & distance (395m at Albion would be much different to 520m).
Sounds like my first project when i retire. Will look at the no of falls & severe checks (- 4 lengths) per race at all venues over a period. |
