Pathetic & desperate from Labor
Report Kye May 5, 2012 1:55 AM BST
Are you saying Liberals bribed him or coerced him into coming forward?

I would expect that sort of false unsubstantiated claim from a pathetic desperate Labor supporter
Report wombleoz May 5, 2012 2:10 AM BST
there are rumours of a $50k payment but they are just runours at this stage

with just what's public knowledge at this time

* both Pyne and Brough have met with Ashby 3 times

* Pyne initially denied meeting with Ashby - stating he might have just met him in passing when going to the Speakers office.  It was later revealed he met him for a 2 hour drinking session and on 2 other times

* Pyne denied asking for Ashby's contact details until a copy of the email from him asking for them surfaced - he then changed his story

* Ashby went to Brough for advice - Brough hates Slipper, why would he go to a known enemy

* while working for Slipper - Ashby was making promotional videos for Peta Simpson - a likely candidate for pre-selection to replace Slipper for the LNP

Interesting that there are plenty in the LNP in Queensland raising concerns re the Brough / Ashby meeting - so much so that they put those concerns in writing. Slipper seems to have lots of very good friends up there and lots of very unhappy enemies.

Liberals have talked about Brough as a potential Leader of the party - is Abbott involved and trying to keep him out of parliament???

Plenty more to play out yet - especially around who is paying for Ashby's lawyer and Publicist

clear opportunity seen by Brough to bring down Slipper and further his own preselection. Ashby was/ is a disaffected employee shopping around for 'patrons' to do the dirty on Slipper. Clearly. Pyne, Brough...wonder how many more he sought out.

The Liberal's are the biggest liars of all,But seeing as the media owned by Murdoch is designed to destroy Labor you will never see it,They tricked you in to voting for a GST.

We will look after the working families
We want to cut Medicare and the pension

Debt is bad
We can get another 20billion from infrastructure bonds

Slipper
The Liberal's knew of his shenanigans since Howard's day

Julia has no leadership
Hockey in May last year "Abbott stands for nothing"

Carbon tax is bad
The GST is a tax on a tax and is on top of the CT

This economy is in a bad state
Say's the opposite overseas

Surplus is all smokes and mirrors

Our economy is in a bad state
now its "under performing"

TONY Abbott has distanced himself from Andrew Robb's defence of ANZ's rate hike, saying it is not his place to dictate what banks should and shouldn't do.

In a rebuff to his finance spokesman, Mr Abbott said big banks were “quite capable of defending themselves” .

His comment came after Mr Robb appeared to back ANZ's decision last Friday to lift rates independently of the Reserve Bank of Australia, saying it would not have done so “willy-nilly”

Liberal's are not for Australia but themselves.

Were you also outraged by Julia's blatant lie at the last election??

Trying to make an issue out of this is just pure desperation. Labor are looking more pathetic every day.

Abbott has refused to answer questions on this subject all week. Funny that.....how he was in the media every day calling for Slipper to be executed....yet when there is a sniff of Liberal involvement he clams up.

What is he hiding? Why didn't Pyne, Brough, Ashby and Simpson come out and inform Abbott of their involvement the day Abbott told us there was no Liberal involvement as far as he knows.

STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN.
Report AFL May 5, 2012 6:27 AM BST
I heard one report saying it is Brough that is seeking Slippers seat at the next election.

So you have the one politician that would benifit most from Slippers demise, giving advice to the complainant against Slipper that he should take it to the feds.

Move along.......no conflict of interest here. Laugh

we can now add Bishop and Entsch to the list of Liberal and Nation members that knew - how long will the list get???

and Barnaby has decided to add his words of wisdom

These details emerged as the Nationals leader in the Senate, Barnaby Joyce, hit out at Mr Ashby, saying ''he seems only slightly less dodgy than Slipper''.

Senator Joyce said the question was what Mr Ashby was doing at Mr Slipper's house - where some of the inappropriate conversation was alleged to have taken place. ''He wasn't dragged into the house,'' Senator Joyce said, adding that Mr Ashby was ''not a boy in his teens but a man in his 30s''.

More muck raking from the lowest of the lows within the ALP.

The usual desperado's are out in force.

Emerson (who'll likely lose his seat at the next election)

And the new Gillard-recruit, Bob Carr who said on the weekend via Twitter of the alleged sexual harassment victim, James Ashby  that he was: "more rehearsed than a Kabuki actor" over his claim to be a victim of Speaker Peter Slipper.

More rehearsed??????

How low can you go.

Joe Hockey was merely comparing this case to that of a woman complaining of sexual harassment.
Would the ALP and all their comrades be attacking a woman if she had filed a complaint???

Of course not.

This is gutter politics from the experts in the business.

The Australian Labor Party.
