Hi Harder if you want to see a rort check out race 8 from Penrith last thursday. The winner went back at its previous start from the same barrier and tommy the tippler held the lead at its previous start no change of tactics from either stable and the clowns questioned J Willick on second horse for lack of vigour how can you possibly bet on these Phucking things.

Masta Toddy did not go back at its previous start rather it broke and missed the start by a considerable distance before running third at its first run from New Zealand - its pattern was not established but it seems a reasonable horse
Tommy the tippler is very limited and has led up recently and been run over - the race went true to what i expected - was on presidential holme mainly the place as i thought it had the rest covered bar the winner and thankfully it did
i can pick out races that i want to blow up about but in my opinion there was no issue with that but everyone reads a race different
Jack, my view on that race is the followingMasta Toddy did not go back at its previous start rather it broke and missed the start by a considerable distance before running third at its first run from New Zealand - its pattern was not established but
Thanks for reply Craig you are right I thought master toddy went back on its own accord but you are right it did gallop in score up no wonder I cant back a winner my memory is shot.

garnet river has to hand up every race because of the inquiry into the drive when rue handed up to mach wiper.. if they now hold the lead and win untouched then they will be in strife with the stewards

There is a clause in Rule 162 that I have only ever seen enforced in TAS ...
"relating to matters at the start and during the race
162. (1) A driver shall not -
(www) once the horses have entered the home straight on the final occasion, allow his or her horse to shift ground in a manner which impedes, hinders or advantages another runner "
In every other state and territory, this rule is basically ignored
As far as D. Thorn goes - he is very left handed in the gig - steers with RIGHT, whips with LEFT. See the horse in question hanging OUT on the head-on footage of back straight. He had to decide whether to drive out his horse, and drift up the track - or to steer it back to the pegs and let those outside get further ahead. I think he was damned either way ?
I understand your frustration, but I think it stems from the Stewards ignoring an important Rule that opens drives up to suspicion !
