Yeah - it was much better when they had a load of wood in the middle of those fences to really hurt the horses if they hit them. Bring back the old says they were grrrrrrrrrrreat.

They did look very small and fell apart on contact , looks the softening ground may decide the outcome.

The fences are a bit of a joke but I am more than happy if it makes it safer for the gee gees.

I am all for improving welfare

but lets not have the bollox about this is race being "the ultimate test"
