It’s fair to say if you have a good result Woodmanchester, I’ll be having a nightmare. I will probably be laying all 3 for a place :) But it’s the National, been totally wrong before and will be again.
I hope all of your selections get round and give their best on the day |

I'm in the next stable to my friend Blaklion and he just can't understand how when I won the GN I went up 8lbs the following year which totally scuppered any chance of me winning again but he gets well beaten and then people expect him to win when he goes up 9lbs.

Considering Captain Redbeard was available at 100/1 just over 2 weeks ago I think you would have to think long and hard before backing it at 20/1.

Woodmanchester, wasn't the Haydock race a mile shorter ?

Bindaree, Haydock is notorious for being bottomless. Blaklion's race was actually 3m4f. The jockey had to lift the horse up and carry him over the line. Form totally sus with plodder winner by a distance. Saw Blaklion run on well to win over 3m1f Aintree too and think got more chance of making it than everybody thinks. Got 220/1 Redbeard so obviously cant complain about that, no matter what

Sorry woodmanchester I didn't realise you had already backed Captain Redbeard. Good luck as you have a great price no matter what happens in the race. I have had a small bet at 100/1 and 80/1 though have also backed another 7 in the race

Blacklion 14/1 that does suprise me... trainer likened him to Red Rum... hope he is right...
Hopefully he will sit back this time... and be a lot more patient... Ground will be the only thing to stop him.... |
