The horse, Perfect Candidate,  I waited all year for has apparently weighted itself out of winning by hacking up at Exeter last time. I was also hoping Gallant Oscar would run. Almost by default I'm attracted to Carole's Destrier now. Anyone know of any negatives?

the Hennessy form is looking increasingly good, got to enter considerations and still a decent price. Most of those at the top of the market are there because of decent runs since the weights came out, so no value to be had there. 33/1 is a nice price

i have bet carols destrier but worried he hasn't had a prep race all his career wins within 34 days of last run also 27/28 last national winners all ran within 52 days of the race and noel fehily has just been booked for blaklion make me wonder

Heard a couple of days ago he's not going to run. Don't know if that's true but betting suggests so !!
