What's happened to Otago Trail?

Not sure Mully, just noticed because I had bet him, and realised he was missing from my open bets. Gutted, was on him at big odds, and had laid at 60's, but was hoping to lay off some more.

Hope he's ok, as I think he's decent.

Outlander won't run according to Gordy. Scratch the top-weight.

Gallant Oscar scratched.

Also Don Poli & Empire Of Dirt will be scratched at next forfeit stage which is next Tuesday.

Vieux Morvan scratched, he was 68 on the list.

Champagne West has been scratched. Think that means weights def rise 5lb with The Last Samurai as top weight.

Devils Bride also scratched.

Triolo D'Alene, 67 on the list, has been retired after suffering a pelvic injury. Hope he makes full recovery.

Interestingly Dr Harper is still in despite Betfair implying it was a NR earlier in the week by moving it to the bottom.  Seems to need one more to come out.

Am pretty sure La Vaticane gets in first as his current chase rating is higher than that of Dr Harper.

Probably slim enough. Ran on nicely in the Irish version last year.

Looks unlikely as can't find one dubious runner and there were none at this time last year.  Was hoping the price might hold and he would sneak in.  As it is looks like neither.  Haven't had a bet yet but the two that took my fancy were Foxrock and Blessthewings, with Foxrock taken out and Bless looking unlikely to feature I'll have to come up with someat else.

Chance of Cocktails At Dawn going for the Topham and there's often one with a late vets certificate. Bless The Wings might just scrape in at No.40.

hendo,s only runner in national and has 1st or 2nd fav in topham gold present,straw clutching comes to mind,i,d be looking elsewhere for a withdrawl myself,prbably sat morning when its to late

The trainer did state that he intends to run it in the GN if it got in which it has.  That's not to say for sure that is his intention.  Goodtoknow is very weak in the betting considering it's form so mebbe that one is doubtful

Wonder if Pipe will take out one of his to ensure Doctor Harper, who unlike Ballynagour and La Vaticane looks to have a chance, gets in.

Ballynagour won't be making way anyway. Was going well when unseating on the second circuit last year. Top graded form in the Melling Chase and the Bowl here in recent years. Imagine telling the owner he's not going to run him to get a different horse in!

Good To Know was rated good enough to be a 10/1 shot against VieuxLR and Blaklion on it's last start and before that won an 11 runner hcap and before that was 6l second to One For Arthur in a 20 runner staying hcap, yet it's a bigger price than the hapless Cocktails At Dawn.  Probably wants soft ground and it's going to be good ground, so maybe its going to bypass this for the Scottish version.
