Don't think he quite stays the trip.
Could be another Big Fella Thanks , going strongly at the Melling Road after the 3rd last and then the petrol tank emptying. |

Was on my shortlist for the Grand National but not after today's Thyestes Chase where he looked a well-handicapped non-stayer. Back to two and three quarter miles?

I don't think connections really wanted to win the Thyestes Chase to protect Ucello Conti handicap mark going into the National. I suspect he was only 80% fit.

A terrific horse who runs consistently well and jumps for fun ........but I don't see him finishing well over the last two fences at Aintree.

Can't imagine he'll get the heavy ground required

It might rain for a few days (nap)

Think connections have said over that distance the perfect ground is good to soft.

I cant knock the horses attitude and obviously the trainer speaks for himself but as has already been mentioned Im not convinced he stays and off the same mark as last years distant 6th, I just cant have him.

Running at Naas on Sunday - ridiculous decision

Yet another solid run ,he just doesn't seem to finish strongly .

Ran well- hope it didn't take any edge off him.

Daryl Jacob is no more a jockey than a ironing board

How long has this horse been 'well handicapped' for? I can't have him at all. Seems to be put up 2 or 3 times a year for a certain race and always seems to find a few either too good or too well handicapped.
