Ready?
Got within  10l of Vautour in Ryan air Chase last outing.
Also got within 13.5 lengths of Djackadam.
No other horse in the National with exception of Silviniaco Conti , would get anywhere near 25 lengths of those two.
Gilgamboa is the classiest horse in the race.
Enda Bolger, (yes he of On the Fringe and countless cross country winners) says "I cannot wait to send Gilgamboa over a longer trip"
This horse should be 12/1 - 14/1 ... Unbelievable he is still available 66/1 2 days before the National.
I advise you all to take the hint.

Agree with you. Way overpriced. I've taken the 66/1 with Victor, e/w 6 places.

Took the 130 a while ago , but has never won over 3 miles is a major -ve stat , would love to see it overcome and ,as you say , though there has been some money for it of late you would expect the price to be shorter.

Thanks for the advice.  I backed him place.  I also had a small ew bet on Ruler of the World because of the trainer. A good day.

He looked a likely winner on the second circuit stalking the leaders as did Vieux Lion Rouge ,the pair going as well as Rule The World after Bechers 2nd time.

Vieux Lion Rouge definitely one to keep an eye on, 7yo novice who ran respectably enough in the 4 miler at the Festival on totally different ground, sure this would have come soon enough after that effort - perhaps will see his race out better in these marathon staying chases as he gets older.

Experience of the last few weeks should prove invaluable in time.
