What do you think, this close in, better to take a price now or wait until the morning of the National for horses at the head of the market? I recall last year that ShuttheFrontdoor was 14/1 on here just before the off.

Will be backing Holywell and his price has generally contracted the last few days - unsure whether to pile in now or wait.

Thoughts?

My number one fancy is Goonyella and his current price will only plummet with every hour of rain between now and Saturday.
I for one have taken prices .

Plenty of 20/1 if you fancy Goonyella.

I do not see Bishops Road being 33-1 on the day myself and I think he may just sneak in.

Where are we now? A couple of days of tightening all the prices in case there is a gamble, then pushing them back out on Saturday morning?

Some bookies will go 10-1 the field race day maybe to restricted stakes. Outsiders will be costantly chopped and will not  lengthen on the day

Oddschecker has a lot of blue on most of the Irish runners.

Take a price without hesitation.

Especially the horses NRNB who may not get in as the bottom weights when confirmed will all contract.
