I am pretty confident.  25/1 looks a fair price.

Looked like being a good novice early in its career but like a few of McCain its progress seemed to flounder.   Has run over the national fences twice as a 7yo and jumped really well without troubling the judge.   The second time especially it caught my eye staying on well over the extended 3 miles.

Horse now older and stronger, transferred to Philip Hobbs in its one race it already looked transformed in easily beating the fair yardstick, Le Reve.   Guaranteed to get in and runs of a very nice 10st 7lb.   will go on any ground and I think "when" dickie chooses this one, it will shorten dramactically.

Ran down the field when McCain's stable was in the doldrums and was fighting a yard virus. I'm with Swardean.

Fairly positive from Hobbs at Exeter Cheltenham preview Night.

Ultima Handicap Chase

PH – Champagne West will run at Kempton on Saturday and the result will determine where he runs at the Festival. Sausalito Sunrise might run in the Ultima Handicap Chase but would be top weight. Our main hope in the race would be Kruzhlinin and going left-handed will suit much better and he could be the one to provide the Rooney’s with their first Cheltenham Festival winner.

not sure what to make of the run today, got outpaced mid race then ran again at the end.

Looked a different horse from the one that jumped so beautifully in January.  Made multiple mistakes.  Obviously a bit disappointed but may respect the fences a little more in the national if he lines up.
