well dragon it ran a great race after a year off and you could argue that the problems with other horses at the start cost FB the race as it got left about 10 lengths and was trapped very wide in a big field. Just about led 2 out and got hampered at the last but ran on for 3rd.
Currently rated 130 it will need to go up about 10 pounds to have a chance of running in the GN if that is the plan. I notice that the horse has been entered in the reopened Welsh National so the connections are at least thinking of "Nationals". You could argue that given Sunday's run it would very nearly win the Welsh National had connections gone that route especially as the horse has already won over 3.5 miles on heavy ground. To answer your original "and" I was purely expressing my opinion that I had previously thought it might be a National horse and had been waiting for it to run again. |

pre Thyestes trainer disappointed about going up 5 pounds for PP run.
Not sure whether that means they are looking at Aintree as 135 probably not enough to run at Aintree and needs to go up at least another 5 to get a run. Hopefully Folsom Blue will win today |

very disappointing to say the least didnt jump nearly as well for Cooper today compared to the last run
no chance of a National run after today |

well I was wrong about FB being a National horse but he may well get his National on Monday in Ireland
a good win last time, he might well start favourite, he jumps the odd fence a bit slow at times my only reservation hope he runs dont mistake the colours if he does he's not a Gigginstown! |

absolutely feckin mugged at the last would've won imo

Very unlucky FB. Would have won wothout a "cannon" from Bellshill. Unlucky nevertheless one of his 13 stable companions won. Can Elliot the winner trainer of FB be caught in the Irish Trainers Championship post this race?; £270k (euro) to the winner.

FB absolutely belted the 4th last amazing that he managed to get back in the race let alone should have won it

Totally agree.

Very unlucky , but so was Arkswright , one of the two would probably have won without Bellshill going sideways.

Ok so here we are again.
I still think this horse has got a National in him-he was unbelievably unlucky in the Irish national in April and is only 3 pounds higher here. Nice warm up behind Paisley Park but as usual it will be the fences that could be the deciding factor, tends to jump slowly at times and can belt one, and they are the reason he probably wont ever get to Aintree. Having said that think he will win today |

ok, where's that cliff?
I still think this horse has a National in him. Had his moment of glory snatched from him in last year's Irish National-hampered by a faller when making ground and then absolutely smashed at the last but still ran on to be beaten hardly more than a length. At 12 this is probably his last chance but imo he definitely has a chance |
