Surely got a great chance if he goes this year. Second in this years Irish National and 2nd in 2013 Neptune so he certainly has a a bit of class. Might be a tiny worry on the staying front but Irish National form is usually a pretty good indicator for Aintree. I've mopped up a fair bit of the 150s available on here (he's as low as 40/1 with Coral). If he is aimed at it he's a 33/1 chance, just got the slight worry that he might not run but I can't think of any other race to logically aim him at.

Yes backing the winner at 150s is massively impressive, but calling his sp four months in advance is taking the p1ss.

had a token bet of three quid on it - only horse i backed in the race. the maroon colours with star of Gigginstown House stud been consistent this year. they had two others in there - but seemed best.

Cheers guys. I couldn't believe how well he was travelling 5 out. He pecked 4 out but Mullins, very wisely, let him recover before going to attack them on the home straight. He was always going to have too much pace for them on the flat. I can't believe how well he was travelling.
