Isn't it the case that it is not going to be reduced at all - they are just going to measure it (along with loads of other races) more accurately.
Yea Rydal ,the mugs have been mugged for years ,turns out the Dante has been run over an incorrect distance for years and not one clock watcher twigged .
They failed to see what was a near 1/2 furlong discrepancy ,some call them experts
the fact so many tracks have advertised incorrect distances is more by design than accident imo
