I'd be worried about that fall here earlier in the season sint, it was a horror and he only qualified for this race finishing fourth in a five runner race (other pulled up) when beaten a distance over 3m at Ascot last time.

Walkon strikes me as one of these entries where the owner is desperate to have a runner in the National...

Done little to suggest that 4 miles-plus around here is what he needs. His best ever finish in a chase over 3 miles or more, was a far distant fourth at Newbury last time out. Readily passed over.
Got to agree with Colupaul. That last run behind Harry Topper looks like adhering to the qualifying rules for the National, so the owner can have a day out. |

Distance is the big question mark for sure. They did say before his run in the Denman Chase at Newbury last time out he was only running to get qualified, so given there were just 5 runners and he needed to finish in the top 4 he wouldn't have been trying very hard. It was a dire effort though!
Had a tickle at 50's. Suspect half the crowd will back this one because of it's name. |

For a trade you might have a bet.
No reason why he won't complete having came 2nd in Topham 10 places you could bet on here last year. Can't see him being close to winning imo |

Walkon would be the most popular grey in Liverpool since Glen Hysen if he wins
