Going at Aintree- anybody know if had much rain overnight?

It was really heavy and more rained predicted tomorrow.

heavy rain thru night,glorious sunshine last hour or so

I didnt think the rain was that bad. Certainly didn't wake me up, but the ground was wet this morning. It's beuatiful drying weather now. Lovely sunshine, warm and a light breeze.

I get the impression all the rain is doing is preventing the clerk from watering

yeah exactly, aintree dries very quick. No more rain since early hours this morning and drying weather all day ground i would say will be just about perfect racing ground

the rain was heavy last night - I'm about 5 miles from Aintree

Been dry today with no wind

Was glorious from lunchtime onwards, temp 18C
