Surely has to be the best of the outsiders. Jumps well now and has bags of stamina. Does need it to be no worse than good/soft but that's par for Aintree. Along with Vintage Star who should also improve for better going they seem the more likely to outrun their present odds.

Same ownership as state of play and Cappa bleu.....who between them have had about 7 places in the g.national!
They deserve to get one.....only diff. Not trained Evan Williams.....which seems strange given his record for them with the other 2.

It wouldn't have run because of the recent soft going which it cant act on I would have thought. The refusals you mention, one was 2 yrs ago, when trained by Evan Williams incidentally, and it has had 4 runs since the last time which was at the last on heavy ground.Of course with any outsider there are certain negatives but it jumped immaculately at Cheltenham when it won which was a £28000 race over 3 1/2 miles.
