Always looking for a each way horse in the National, Anyone else think this horse is worth a shot at a big price... considering he won the Becher Chase to Baby Run, seems to like Aintree, surprised he is as big as 40/1? 2nd in the Topham Chase in 2012, Becher Chase this year, having won at 3mile 2f, and did run a good race at Ascot lto was in contention at one point.

You couold argue that the horse doesnt have the stamina for 4m4f, but worth a chance on how it goes round Aintree...

Nicely weighted at the bottom... on 10st 6 ... should get in.

Good Luck

I agree, and he is very much on my radar for the reasons you state.

Settled down to watch Ascot and was horrified to see him about to run as hadn't backed him - then had an uncomfortable few minutes where he looked like he might win at one point and his price would have tumbled, before he then faded. Which left me in a quandary - the good news was I could still back him at 40/1 as before, the bad news was it had strongly added to my nagging doubts that he won't stay.

Then I started to doubt further - if you want to pick apart the Becher you can. How strong a stayer do you need to be to see of a 13 year old having his first run for 2.5 years, getting a little bit of weight too? And he really didn't look to get home at Ascot.

But he clearly likes Aintree and could be a fun bet at the price, so who knows?
