Might not even carry top wight if TB runs.

Gold cup winner in the National with half the field out the handicap. Consistent, never not completed and if he can jump well enough to win a Gold cup the polystyrene fences at modern Aintree shouldn't cause him too much bother.

I doubt half the field will be out of the Hcp as it will encourage trainers to enter better horses as they are now likely to get in with a low racing weight. It should increase the quality of the field and make it harder to get in for less talented horses IMO.

long run would need to go the neptunes collonges route to have a chance in the GN, a season running in handicaps getting beat to get the mark down.

Won't happen a run in the GN could finnish this horse,connections would be mad to enter him .

Looks like he has been kept for this race this season,when was the last horse to win a gold cup king george and a national.If he pulls it off will go down as all time great.

He couldn't win the paddy power off 158 in his prime,he can't jump and he is going downhill rapid.

People say he can't jump yet has never fallen and the paddy power wasn't the aim won the king george and gold cup after that,henderson has ran him in different races apart from the king george this season think he has been set up for this.

Had he been running in this a year ago, I would have been all over him. Think he's on the slide now though. Tidal Bay the better horse this season.

He doesn't fall , but his technique of brushing through the top of fences is a disaster awaiting at Aintree imo.
And his form is hopeless this season , even in the King George he was going nowhere after 2 miles. |

Hedgehunter won bobbyjo chase before winning GN.Neptune came second in two big handicaps and Briggs won those hurdles races and was second in a chase that is good form m8
