We are delighted to announce that The Grand National 2014 will take place from Thursday 3rd to Saturday 5th April.
Tickets go on sale on Monday 10th June and we have frozen this year’s prices. Be there to witness history being made.
The tickets usually go on sale in early August for people wishing to buy for more than one day, two weeks later they go on general sale by which time most of the seats are sold out for the Friday and Saturday within one day.
Selling the tickets out of the blue two months early is going to catch quite a few people out.

On holiday at the moment and have just seen the email from aintreeracecourse@jockeyclubtickets.co.uk which as you say does indeed indicate that tickets go on sale on the 10th

I love Aintree but some of their marketing gets more and more bizarre by the year. I for one don't have the spare cash in the middle of summer barely two months after it ended. I suspect I'm not the only one.
