Mully is right with the prices. If you want a seat add £30 to those. I wandered into the PR ground floor area (Irish Bar) on the Thursday and it was rammed. Surprising really as it was actually warmer outside. If you buy seats you get access to another bar (I think) on the second/third floor. If you are not bothered with a seat, the County Roof is the highest point to watch from the side - about the same price as the PR. The Sefton and Derby stands are head on to the straight and the view from the upper tier is excellent, although they are running towards you at the finish. I had a Winners Bar and QM seat ticket on the Thursday. The Bar was super (much better class of drunk) but the seats in the QM stand are first floor; not that I used it tbh. |

Seats one up and terrace above that for the princess royal stand
Seats have a bar thats easy to access/not to hard to get a bet on even on Grand national day - terrace is good but hard to get a beer/bet on national day have been to the tatts/pr terrace/pr seats |

So does the County Roof give the best view?

Yes I would say so bluebird.

If you like a side-on view don't pick the Earl Of Sefton/Lord Derby stands as the runners come to you head and past the post.
