11 lengths 4th in the Gold Cup two years ago. Had a long time out but wasnt really asked many questions on his comeback ride in the Racing Plus Chase at Newbury in February. Was ridden very tenderly. Carries a big weight but wouldnt be surprised to see it run into a place at 50/1 on the high street or 18s for a place on here. Gold Cup winning jock up as well.

I backed him two years ago when he was in better form. Not for me off the same mark here. Didn't take to the race,a bit of a dog and has probably regressed.

Even with being shorter in the better I prefer Imperial Commander's chance at just a 1lb higher.

I like the stable mate more , harry the viking. has not run well since cheltenham last year, but ground has mostly been an excuse, and you are only going back 12 months for his best form. if he can reproduce that  being two lengths behind T43 at level weights over four miles, now receiving nearly a stone.
