The last three years we have not found anyone who has managed to get both, although we've had a handful of place doubles come in.
Let's have your entries for 2013. Rules:
1. One selection from each event as an each way double.
2. List the best oddschecker price for each selection.
3. That's it. Let's have a winner this year.
4. Both events will pay 5 places, irregardless of bookie used.

It's worth pointing out that this is the King of bets. Anyone that pulls off the Grand National/Masters double is known as the King of Tipping. My mates and I have been doing this for about 10 years, and none of us have ever got anywhere near it, although we have had a few closeish shaves (winners of the national and top 20s in the golf every so often).
IIRC I had the place double last year with Cappa Bleu and Matt Kuchar and think I'll stick with the same again.
