Better he goes out in one piece. Hopefully he will parade before the race and they name a race after him at Ayr. I don't think I ever backed him but he has been a great horse.

Second best horse for me profit wise ever, after Imperial Commander. May he have a long and happy retirement!

One huge win (first Scots National), 1 decent win (2nd Scots National), 2 smaller wins (Eider and his win at Doncaster just out of novice company), unsure how many times I lost on him, maybe 3 including a saver bet when 2nd in the Scots National?

Just backed him in his two national wins. I actually thought he won them back to back. I think I was too skint to bet on the one in between as didn't bet much at all that year.

I think it was fitting that a formline through my most profitable horse led me to another very profitable day!

Yeah I always had an eye on him for the National but he just took never took his chance. I'm sure he would have took his chance if the change in the fences had happened any sooner.
