Rated 84 when trained by Charlie Mann last February.

Now with Elliott and rated 129. A 45lbs rise - over three stone!

Elliott described him as slow as hearse after winning at Fairyhouse last year but thats what you want for a national isnt it......10st 2lbs is an attractive looking weight. Needs 6 to come out but Prince De Beacuhene, Beshaber, Magnamity, Tofino Bay and Wyck Hill are all NRs. So 1 more NR needed.

He was just touched off in the Thyestes - a race that propelled the likes of Hedgehunter and Numbersixvalverse to National success. He was due to run in the abandoned Eider chase at Newcastle. Disappointed at Naas a few weeks ago...no known excuse.

He ticks a lot of the stats: weight, age, recent run, stamina, breeding. Nothing traded on here though which suggests he won't run. Wouldn't be like Elliott not to run...is he injured?

Elliott hopes he gets in and expects some sort of a run from him.

was rated 120 2 years ago so is mostly a return to form rather than a huge progression.  He stays quite well but even at his best was surely way too slow?

Looks a very big price to me if he's an intended runner.

Here's a nice picture of him schooling at the Curragh's Grand National fences:

He might be slow but the ground is probably going to be watered which will slow them down up front. I presume Davy Condon will ride if he gets in with Carberry on Chicago Grey.

I can't get past the memory of him and Master Overseer slugging out a finish over 3m 5f at Plumpton a couple of years back.  Was like they were both in slow motion down the home straight.  Good luck :)

Interesting to see this is as big as 100/1 at VC's with 6 places, can see it plodding round for a minor place!
