Has this been done before? Must be massively against On His Own, especially as his wasn't even match practice over fences. Much as I like the horse, he was going well last year til coming down and will now have the best jockey on board, unless the stats say otherwise I'm not buying that this can be done.
I know State of Play has been placed after just one seasonal run, and again on a seasonal reappearance, but he was beaten 16l and 25l carrying lower weights than On His Own, and I would be wanting more than just a chance of scraping a place if backing a 7/1f.

Aldaniti was the last one. Cannot remember a horse winning it with so few chase starts either, Numbersixvalverde had 10 - any less than that I cannot recall.

Isn't a stat that I would use against a high class horse that does well off a break, like Imperial Commander, but just one start over hurdles for something with so few chases behind it is a combo that I can't be having.
