What can I say. Another year on his back this horse should run incredibly well in the GN 2013!!
After a his wonderful last season including his prep run in this years National with experience of these fences on his side he feasibly stands a good chance.
With a touch more resistant he should be have plenty left in the tank to finish the race off strongly.

Too high in weights and doesn't stay. Jumps well. If Henderson gambles and tries to get it in off say 138-140 and its lightening fast ground then got place prospects. Off 149+ no chance.

Barry was sweet on it last year.

racingguru has said it all. Too high in the weights and doesn't stay. I was on him last year along with Neptune Collonges. Shakalaka travelled and jumped like a dream. Really took to the fences but was as blatant a non-stayer as they come. Not sure where you can go with this horse now, but I won't be backing him again until he has a run or two and comes down the weights a few lbs.

Backed him last year. Ran a great race but didn't seem to get home. I don't think the handicap mark is a problem but his stamina is. I wont be backing him this year.
