Attending The Aintree festival , imo is pathetic

There are 3 main reasons .

You cant see a fykin thing

Full of pslags with false tans

Every scouse fella thinks hes funny - they fill the place like little rats .

And this year due to the FA cup semi -  and every scouse fella thinks he loves football CryCryCryCry

1, if your a jock, you r usually pi$$ed, so im surprised you can see the form when you sign on.

2, I lived in glasgow for 3 years, and was the only place were women share the toilets with men, standing up using urinals, and then wiping themselves with their sleeve, top quality women from glasgow.

3, more comedians come from liverpool than glasgow, at least you can understand them, without being stuffed with self pity and vile.

4, and please dont start on football, the pair from that city, are skint, and would be lucky to do well in division 1 football in england.

so in comparison, there is no comparison...

enjoy your day on thursday to the poster,,

and yes you can get a tatts from the booking office on thursday, and self transfer(at a cost) once in there..Love

echo proctor - I invariably see more of the horses on Thursday at Aintree than at the Festival - you can walk up to the stables where they are saddled and watch them come down the walkway into the parade ring and get a good view there too.

Lots of room to move around.

Thursday the best day imo - that`s if you enjoy watching horse racing rather than getting bladdered ( although ive done both but it`s easier on Thursday!!)

Thursday is a great day, not too jammed packed and "proper" fans of racing. It breaks the meeting in nicely.

Glad you enjoyed the day San Quentin. I go every year on the Thursday, Ladies Day is far too busy in the Tatts. As someone who had never been before, what do you think are the positives? There are many who might be put off attending, lots of people like to put Liverpool and the city down (See the Glasgow chaps earlier comments).
Here are my positives;
Its easy to get served. Lots of bars, staff, hardly any waiting.
The toilets, whilst busy, its not ridiculous.
Better racing ususaly.
Lots of bookies and choice.
The stands/course etc look fantastic.
The Centaur centre stays open after racing for more booze and bands.
Station is right opposite the entrance. Park and get the train.
Good viewing on the Aintree Mound.

Been a couple of times on the Thursday and for me it is one of the most pleasing days racing. Class horses plenty of room, walk the course. Still thinking of going this year just need a winner today

I go every year on the Thursday and it's a great day out

Went on Ladies Day a few years back and it was far too busy.

Massive queues for the toilets with women using the urinals!
