Love it, just love it.....even at 38 it gives me such a buzz. Some of my best ever touch s have been in the racing, horses like hedgehunter where i actually did a tardelli and ran around the course in 10 seconds of pure ecstasy...party politics who i owe a lot helping me get a job in the industry.

Going back to being a kid i just couldnt sleep the night before and rushed my dad down the bookies on the sat morning where it always seemed sunny and they lined up to the shop door, saving my pocket money to put it on horses like greasepaint, west tip, dark ivy, durham edition, brown windsor, corbiere, rinus, seagram, uncle merlin, scot lane, aldaniti, startan missile....having dvds and old video tapes of the likes of rummy, red alligator, highland wedding, rag trade...the list goes on.sad as it sounds i can still do the commentary which i still get asked to when p**** down the pub for rummys 3rd win....andy pandys down when clear.....its red rum and churchtown boy, churchdown boy didnt jump it to well and its red rum etc etc
Still the best 10 minutes in sport and 30 years on still gets the blood pumping...enjoy it

I love it and I hate it. Sometimes I hate myself for loving it.

It's the most thrilling race on this earth.

I watch it through my fingers, willing the fallers to 'get up, just get up, and please be alright'.

I am already feeling sick at the thought of it, and it's only Tuesday!

Am I overreacting or does everyone feel like this? Confused

LOVE IT!!

I bloody well should, I spend enough time on it what with all the analysis, watching videos of races, making spreadsheets, betting, trading, adjusting. Reckon I look at the market at least 5 times a day every day and have done since the start of March

then the day itself with the build up and the excitement, all my friends and family e-mailing and texting for tips...

one of the best days of the year
