yep.choc never won on him. didnt get round on him last year. wayne won on him every time,I think.wayne a good booking IMHO.

Choc 0-12 on The Rocker, Hutch 4-5. What would you do?
|
|
By:
yes fair enough great for wayne to get the ride but i dont think he's handicapped to win
|
|
By:
not convinced of his jumping (I know he won the Becher, but was on his nose at the first in that race) ... will stay of course but I feel he should be a bigger price. Having said that, he wouldn't be the first to fall at Bechers and go back and win next year, West Tip and Red Marauder to name two.

By:
has excellent chance imo.

West End Rocker did not fall at Bechers last year, he was brought down. He has never fallen or unseated in his career.
|
|
By:
with all the nuts and bolts in Chocs upper arm i'd be worried what he has left at the end of four miles. Having Wayne aboard is perfect and logical.

^ 4 wins out of 4 rides - when completed.

In relation to last year he seems to be badly handicapped, but A.King is satisfied and very bullish about West End Rocker.

no brainer
hutchinson remains a massively underated jump jockey |
|
By:
agreed

This must have been a late change of plan. In mondays RP thorton was quoted saying how much he was looking
forward to riding WER. Stats quoted speak volumes and I doubt they a coincidence, Hutchinson is probably a significantly better jockey than Thornton, though I do feel sorry for him given some of the injuries he's had in recent times. |

By:
As long as I can remember, some jockeys have been fashionable and
others overlooked, R.WALSH is a case in question, he is first jockey for MULLINS and NICHOLLS, yet I believe that P. TOWNEND is much better all round but totally unfashionable. WAYNE HUTCHINSON has been a very reliable pilot for a number of years ,yet he is unfashionable. |

Tumelty would have been a better option..
