OK. I'm exaggerating but there's definitely a bit of a move in the price. 9.4 gone now.

I just can't see Ballabriggs being 19/1 on the day. Am I wrong?

Seems everyone that doesn`t fancy Sync, says he won`t get round. He has never fallen and admittedly he does have his own style of getting over a fence. In the National, you don`t want an extravagant jumper as the landings are steep and they use up more energy. If the going is on soft side which looking at todays racing from all over the country and the forthcoming weather forecast for rest of the week, that looks highly likely. The field won`t go off at a bonkers rate and if Mr Mcoy has him nicely placed say 5 or 6 lengths off the leaders 2 out, who would you want to be on with that lovley long run in that can make even the best horses wobble!!!! He`ll start at a stupid price on the day, possibly 5 or less on BF. Great back to lay if there ever was one.

I've no big opinion myself, but I do reckon that 7/1 is about as tight as the GN favourite should ever be.

Agreed but it`s the Mr Mcoy factor and the once a year punters that will foprce the price to a stupid level...

although his jumping is not good on the eye at times, he dont  hit many fences, just untidy at some but one thing for sure is he stays longer than the jehovas witnesses and the going will suit .

Well if he's 4/1 on the day I reckon I'll get my 7-league boots out of the cupboard... and I won't be alone either.

could see him starting very short with the bookmakers but he will have plenty of layers on here if around 5-1,ruby walsh's mount is quite weak on betfair at the minute and would expect that to be nearer the sp on the day unless something is not right

plus his form is very good when he is fresh and he must have had a hard race to win a gold cup

last year's Irish National run would worry me  - similar space of time between tough race in Midlands National and that race (carrying very similar weight too).
