Does she have any experience over the National fences? My recollection is she was unseated (hurled over the fence even) very early in her only try.

I believe she was unfortunately.

Think he's a decent jumper, whether he'll stay the distance is debatable.

Is the current price generous? I thought he might be around 18/20s...

This could be the fairytale story of the National.

Good luck Katie!

Lol jasey...I certainly won't mind if Nina's riding one of mine.

The price is wrong after Seabass was shortened up in case Ruby climbed on board.

Out Now just paid a decent compliment to Seabass's form in the Irish GN.

I was looking back at the form of those behind Seabass in his last five starts and found it quite interesting reading...

20th Nov PTP: 2nd; Saddler’s Storm (next time out second to Salisfy; Cheltenham Foxhunter’s winner). Then second to Killyglen.

11th Dec h’cap: 2nd; Like Your Style (behind Seabass again next two starts before winning a hurdle).

27th Dec h’cap(Grade B): 2nd; Tullintain (nto second in Thyestes). 3rd; Start Me Up, nto going well when slipping up behind Portrait King (who then won the Eider) in Grand National Trial. Then close third in Grade Two just behind Four Commanders (who then finished third in four miler at Cheltenham) and Lion Na Bearnai (just won Irish National). Then fifth in the Kim Muir.

28th Jan h’cap(Grade A): 2nd; Out Now (just finished second in Irish National).

26th Feb(Grade Two): 2nd; Zaarito and 4th; Tranquil Sea (nto finish first and second in another Grade Two race). 3rd; Saludos (nto winner of a 12k Chase).

Take from that what you will but to me it looks fairly strong form.

This looked to have a fair bit left in the tank on his Leopardstown win, not sure if it was 2miles worth of seabass gas though..Just got a feeling about this horse, Would love to see it digging deep from the front, fighting off all the challengers....And Jasey your SO against this little beauty on most of the threads, WHEN it wins im sending you an extra large portion of Seabass with a note in its mouth saying 'unlucky' just to rub salt in the wounds Laugh

I find it encouraging too that while other bookies have pushed his price out in the last few days both Boyles and Paddy have left him at 14/1. The two Irish bookies clearly want him on their side still.
