My gran has a budgie called "Bobby" so she says Rare Bob is going to win, I wonder what reasons other people have for picking their horse? ? ?

Some old scrote in a smoky back street bookies once told me to always back the horse with the 3rd and 4th letter the same - Ben Nevis, Hallo Dandy, Little Polveir, Bobbyjo, Ballabriggs...
When you look further, it is uncanny how many winners have 2 letters the same next to each other in their name, or their first and second names starting with the same letter: Grittar, West Tip, Miinnehoma, Lord Gyllene, Earth Summit, Papillon, Bindaree, Monty's Pass, Red Rum, Rhyme n Reason, Party Politics, Mon Mome 17 of the last 34 winners fit the above parameters, so it's an Even money shot. Haven't checked this year's field yet  |
