Not at all. He would have given PDB something to think about at Aintree last year had the jockey not slipped out of the saddle. His best form comes after the turn of the year on all types of ground.

I got 95's in January.

Invariably placed but very rarely wins, and often in Graded races, so probably by now the handicapper has him about right and there is no juice in his mark.

Rarely wins, made an appalling error in the John Smiths last year when he fell, cope with these larger fences?must have reserveations regarding that.

Has looked a non stayer more than once to me. Didn't get home in The Irish National one year and ran out of gas in this seasons Becher. Jumped well enough so maybe a Topham horse.

I pinpointed this horse as having the potential for a Grand National well over 12 months ago and actually bet it at 70s a couple of months ago.I must confess I'm not that optimistic now as he has disappointed me with how he has run the last 2 or 3 times.

Good work Roselier
Adding to my portfolio. Apart from the points above: Jumped the fences especially the Chair brilliantly in November. 17 lbs better off with the winner that day Softly softly approach in the last run when giving lumps of weight to Paddy Pub Trainer/Jockey had a good winner today. |

Don't think lack of stamina beat him in the Beecher- more likely the deep ground and the fact that the weights hadn't come out then
![]() If you thought Prince De Beauchene was well handicapped I don't know how this fella isn't- over a stone better off with him since UR upsides him in the John Smiths. 17lbs better with West End Rocker from the Beecher and ground in the big one will suit him much better. This is my biggest ante post bet ever- averaged 110 on here and plenty of 50s each way elsewhere. |

By:
Will he like the ground though? I'm not convinced

Doesn't look ground dependent to me. Ran well at Aintree twice on good.

Niche Market was my big fancy before it got pulled out and i think that horse had a better shot before it got injured.Rare Bob is also well handicapped and jumped the fences well in December. However it strikes me as a horse who just about stays 31/2 miles and the last mile/half mile will be its undoing.Should give you a good run for a long way though.
