im swettin on the same bet.
as far as im aware confirmed runners are
Big Bucks

Not sure if Mullins is planning to bring any over and maybe a couple of the also rans from World Hurdle will turn up.
As for the price of Big Bucks id say around 1/4?

I think Will Hill did lay that bet early in the season?

I also have the same bet.  Most certainly was an 'undefeated for the season' bet.  Thought Hills had messed up the minute I heard.

Will probably lay off my stake on the day as will only have a miniscule impact on winnings.  No point risking stake for minimal benefit only to see disaster to strike.

Dont think the bookies have time to come up with the name of a better stayer more classy horse etc etc this time so odds will not be as generous as say Cheltenham. Unlikely to be beaten but if one has 3s and can lay off ay 1/4 why not to protect ones stake. But no doubt the bookies will come up with some other imposter for Cheltenham next year. Many forget that apart from being a super stayer he is CLASS himself.

that 3-1 as his subsequent SP's have shown was about right but I still wish i'd been on

5-2 with Laddies to go unbeaten for the rest of his career!!!!!

That's a lousy bet. Can't see Nicholls retiring him before he loses so you're almost betting on him having a career ending injury.

Yes SPs do give weight to the 3/1 being correct.  However, that's only if you believe the SPs were correct!

5/2?  Dreadful bet. Will surely only be retired when on the decline and, by definition, will have been beaten by then.

Fred's went 5-2 about unbeaten all season.

When i placed my bet the thinking was that Big Bucks would win at Newbury long odds on then go to Ascot long odds on then head straight to World Hurdle.
Nicholls threw a spanner in the works by going for the Cleeve which i did not account for but at least the horse won and then won at the Festival so now its a nice bet to be sat on.
I think he will be around 1/4 at Aintree and im going to the meeting next week so hopefully itl be a good start to the 3 days!

Weak opposition apart from Smad Place (unsurprisingly).
