Placed twice in the Topham now stepping up in trip over the X-country race at Cheltanham.

I remember Silver Birch winning the National after competing in the X-country.

A very lively outsider in my opinion.

Hard to know what to think of the win really. Probably could have won by 10 lengths if it had tried to.

I genunely think it has a good a chance as any in the National. i would prefer it to concentrate on the National rather than focus on Cheltanham though.

What weight do you think it will get if Syncronised is 11-10, Balabriggs 10-7. 10-11?

No way Balabriggs only carries 10-7. I reckon scotsirish will have about 10-10 in the inital weights so would carry around 11-4 if the top weight is (as I expect) rated around 160.

I don't think you can extrapolate much useful from today's race to Scotsirish's National chance - totally different types of race.

Whoops meant 11-7!

11-4 would be a lot of weight for Scotsirish.

Ballabriggs will only carry 1Lb or maximum 2Lb below that of Synchronised..
Scotirish will get in below 11 stone.
