Any thoughts about his chances in the PP?  Do we know if he is targetting the race? Would people put me off having a poke at around 4-1?

Can see him going off around the 5/2 mark. Could be totally different class to likely rivals. 5s and 6s with high street bookies looks very fair.

I can't think of another horse in training that the new whip rule will give an advantage to

He must think an awful lot of it when he's bringing Kauto Star, Big Bucks & Mon Perrain to Exeter to gallop after racing

10st 8 with Poqueling holding the weights down?....

I suspect that Poquelin will skip this & wait for the December race, unless the ground is good come next Saturday. Why would Andy Stewart run him to keep the weights down for somebody elses horse? One of his own maybe.

Yep - I thought they'd decided Poquelin is much better suited by the New Course. Also, he didn't really look himself in the Charlie Hall. Fair enough he didn't stay the trip but he folded very tamely a long way out for a 170 rated 2.5 m horse.
