I hope this doesnt annoy TheGalwayman too much in fact he might like to enter the spirit of things by joining in.
Q1.There have been three dual winners of The Galway Plate since the sixties name them.
Q2.There has been only one dual winner of The Galway Hurdle in the same time name him.
Q3.What jockey with a famous father with Galway connections never rode a winner at the festival while professional.
Q4.What age was Dermot Weld when he rode  Ticonderoga to his first victory in Galway.
Q5.What was the name of the triple winner of the Amateur Handicap in Galway.
Q6.What poet was born at the gates of Galway racecourse.
Q7.Tony McCoys wife rode a bumper winner in Galway in 1995 name horse and rider.
Q8.What Galway winner went on to win the Belmont Stakes.
Q9.Whose stall didnt open in the 2003 Nursery in Galway.
Q10.Who was the best flat horse ever to race in Galway.

The last three questions are connected and could spark heated debate.

I thought this would be a slow burner and vowed to leave it for a while, but i stumbled in to find it almost done and dusted.Very impressive answers from Thegalwayman, living up to his name all answers correct so only a few add ons needed.Your question about which gate has been answered by The Icchantika who correctly named Rita Ann Higgins who is indeed from Ballybrit. The Paddy Sleator trained Royal Day was the other dual Plate winner,Dermot Weld was 15 when he first won on Ticonderoga an event i witnessed as a 17 year old.Bamapour was Chanelle Burkes bumper winner and Q10 which could have been contentious finds us all in agreement.
