13-8 with Corals, seems very decent to me. I think he ll take a lot of beating in this.

The money was poured on him at cheltenham and he was disapointing... I was at cheltenham and was told the week before i went that he was the horse that had the best chance so took the 6/1.
If he doesnt win tomorrow or go close i dont think he is the horse mullins thinks he is. |

just watched the replay of the cheltenham race and have come to the conclusion that so young was just getting the better of FL before his mistake at the last and probably would have beaten him,out of the 2 so young still has room for plenty more improvement and i will be backing him also,however having watched it again FL is alot better than i gave him credit for at the time,travelled through the race very well like a class horse and showed a very impressive turn of foot round the home bend to close in on the leaders from 2 lengths down in a matter of seconds and so young looked to be off the bridle slightly before FL so it wont be easy to turn him over but i think and hope he can come out on top

I went to the preview night at the course on the sunday night and he was thought to be mullins banker of the week....i think that was concern knowleadge as id been informed in early feb this fella was the business. Although he got beat i think theres a lot of potential improvement with him. 13-8 is more then fair imo

2.40 on the machine so cant see the 13-8 lasting long...goes off around 5-4 imo

Wasn't very fluent at some of the hurdles at Cheltenham and made a mess of the last when really asked for a good jump. But he'd never been in such a high tempo race before and I think it'll really stand to him. He's also won around here before and add to that the scope for improvement and I think he'll see off First Lieutenant tomorrow

A visit to Mullins stable on RTE the other day had WM saying it all happened too quick for him in Cheltie a horse with a big future....Pat Keane is with First Lt. and he said Ruby says he will win...

Found nothing when asked. They were saying the ground didnt suit but it wasnt too disimilar to Cheltenham. Maybe needs it softer. Disappointing though!

Zaidpour and Mik d spring to mind from last season,and he has had a few over the years that are talked up as world beaters by the Irish.Have a look you will find them.

How was mikael d talked up? He won a sun-alliance hurdle and was unbeaten over hurdles. Got injured and didnt come back. TALKING HORSE

You should have read the many posts last season that said he was going to be another Arkle,same as Zaidpour.

Mikd was a good novice hurdler,but has failed over fences.A lot on here were saying monster,the next Arkle,Gold cup winner and g0d knows what else about the horse,and all he had done was win novice hurdles,and yet to jump a fence.
So yes,last season he was a talking horse. |

Who talked up these horses? Some people on here was it? Willie mullins never talks up his horses chances in fact he his quite the opposite when it comes to interviews and stable tours.

Their were countless people on here saying MikD would win the Arkle or RSA,whichever he would run in,and then win the Gold cup.Apparently he was a machine,a monster,the next Arkle etc etc Now maybe if he had not had setbacks he may have achieved more,but last season he was just a novice chaser with plenty to prove,well thats what i thought,but many on here thought differently,and kept going on about it as if it were a formality. No problem with Mullins,but some of his horses do get people carried away imo |

I dont take much notice of people hyping up horses,i can make me own mind up and do, but when we contribute regularly on the Cheltenham antepost forum,cannot help reading it. |
