The second of the two Grade 1's scheduled for Wednesday (May 4th). Dermot Weld's Waaheb looks sure to be favourite for the contest, looking the part in all three starts and recently purchased by J P McManus from Kris Weld. Willie Mullins as usual is well represented and Nicky Henderson has 2 or 3 with entries most notably Sizing India held in high regard. I think Steps To Freedom is the one to be on for this, Gordon Elliott had a good Wednesday at Cheltenham and might just have a good one in the Irish eqivalent. Cruised in at Aintree under Paul Carberry, Noel Meade has no entires for this so I'm sure Nina Carberry will be bidding for this having won on him on his first bumper start at Tipp.
