Stats are there to be broken. No 4 year old wins the champion hurdle. No Monteju's win at Cheltenham and so on

do you know how many or the percentages of 7 year olds to run in the race - very small hence stat misleading IMO, same with the stat for greys winning it

You just dont get it do you.7 yr olds are too young and trainers who run them are totally irresponsible.Another young horse ruined in all probability.

Organisedconfusion is a 7year old but has ran in 12 chases, the same number as ballabriggs had before he won.

Tom Seagal has only in the last year realised 7 year olds are not up to the test. He has tipped a few 7 year olds in the past but it really does look like they are not ready for the ultimate stamina test over meaty fences at the age of 7.

There has been a 4YO and 5YO won the Grand National, the 4yo when there was a wall to jump and 34 obstacles, the 5yo was favourite I think, these are facts.
The oldest horse to win was PETER SEMPLE on his final attempt at age 18 I think , but could be wrong about his age and he had won it previously.
