is it sure to run if ground continues to dry out given how cautious connections are?

Evening mh. Have you laid ante-post?

I missed the boat and laid now, so hoping for a run and expected big drift.

Going a bit mad and think Thats Rhythm should not be 400...back on State of Play again too.

Not convinced it has to have soft ground, breeding would suggest it acts on better.

Yes laid small AP, cant have it on good ground, has tended to avoid it all career and is laid out for the 2 staying races each season on the mudbaths of Chepstow and Haydock.  If it was an eart Summit year, would start favourite and win but its not.

Just going through race now, cant have many of the market leaders

Agree and have same view. Splicer - would prefer to look at career record than rely of breeding for a 9-year old.

Another one of interest could be Tom Seagull's favourite horse Arber Supreme - agree with you on favs. Don't Push It must be trade of the decade - whole world will be on come Saturday.

Won on g/s, and a couple of disappointments on good ground came on seasonal debuts, wont be putting me off.

Ran fair race first time up on firm ground in a bumper and has been second on good to soft so maybe not essential that he has desperate ground over this sort of distance.

Happy to lay at 17 last night and back now.

That Don't Push Trade now 15 to 10, so looking good.

Can anyone tell me why State of Play is so big? Williams is not messing about this year (pointless having other runs) and knows the horse is ideal for the race - too big on this ground imo.

State of Play runs well fresh so wouldnt rule him out placing again for sure. Have narrowed it down to 8 so having a bit on them all lol.
