I really fancy V Neck in the 3rd race heard its a very good jumper

I'd also be wary of Kangaroo Court due to the bounce factor.

![]() But on a serious note i can see Mon Parrain turning into the V Neck..The way it jumped last time was superb..Can see him really taking to the National fences jumping them into the ground..Also got to back Frankie Figg in the race me and this horse are old pals..3.05 Tranquil Sea 3.40 Mon Parrain, Frankie Figg e/w 4.15 Sparky May Gl with your bets |

By the way Quito De La Roque is only running because Owner wants to, horse needs soft ground and would normally be a n/r here.

I really wanted to see Quito de la Roque over for Cheltenham but they didn't fancy it on the ground. Obviously the same applies here, but I'm letting heart rule head, and hoping that he'll act well enough on it. Wayward Prince would be the head bet.

frankie figg has to be the ultimate back to lay horse.....i fancy ballyholland ....he travelled really well in the national before it all got a bit much, previous galway plate winner this is more his trip, wouldn't be surprised if he was a pricewise horse at 18/20 ish.....talking of surprises.....mon parrain looked over-priced compared to the impression he left from last time....but although he was mightily impressive, i'm trying to learn not to get carried away with these eyecatching performances on debut.....and i for one won't be proclaiming him next years gold cup winner after conceding a stone and hammering of appleaday....not just yet anyway!!!!

Does anyone think For Non Stop could do well at first attempt over 3 miles?
I know Carlito Brigante faded away yesterday but thought he was running well against Grands Crus, so the Coral Cup form could be quite good. He would have finished 2nd but for falling. I can't have Back in Focus on fast ground, and a lot of those at the top of the market have had long seasons in Grade 1's or over 3m which must surely take its toll now. |

Sire De Grugy 3rd
Quito De La Roque 1st Albertas Run 2nd Mon Parrain 2nd Back In Focus unplaced Golden Chieftain unplaced Glorious Feeling non runner One 6/1 winner, Quito De La Roque and a non runner, so small profit on the day. Couldn't reach the heights of yesterday. Very pleased indeed to see Quito De La Roqued winning here (justifies my faith in him for Cheltenham), and it dispels the myth that he doesn't handle anything other than soft ground. Looking forward to seeing him next season. |

Pretty annoyed about Quito De La Rock, having been a supporter of the horse in a few racing this season deserted him because of the ground.
Very happy with Master Minded and Always Waining. Had 3 winners and a couple of places. Another good day. |
