How are you supposed to bet IR on the race if your original bets are not c/f to the new market (without depositing more money) Confused

Having the same problem.I want to lay off my AP bets+cant because liabilities are too big.They should be amalgamated then could lay off for a tidy profit

that's the way it is. At least you've learnt for next year.

You do have the option of laying out your full stake at market odds just before the AP market suspends, and then entering it into the DoR market at the same odds.
