Was looking at this on Monday and as its been cut everywhere else today I've taken the 33s (shorter on here at the moment)

A gradual improver last season she won the Irish National with a degree of ease and class by 4&1/2L to Oscar Time.
OT has a 5lb pull in the weights for the National but it would be fair to say that she idled infront that day and was value for more. Yet Bluesea is nearly 3 times the price.

This season she was given an opener down the field over hurdles before running well when nodding on landing at the 3rd last at Cheltenham in November.

At that point I feel they decided a crack at the national was on the agenda and she was put away for 3 months and ran an encourageing race lto when looking in need of the run.

She jumps well and ground should be a problem. I feel she could well be the irish plunge horse on the day and will go of around 12s.

Interesting that in last two years she has won during the corresponding week;

5th April 2009 - won 48 grand grade 2 chase over 3 miles by 16 lengths !!! On yielding ground - not soft or heavy

5th April 2010 - won Irish National by 4 and a half lengths from Oscar Time

Her time of the year?

Layers have seen the weather forecast (nap) or realised JP has half-a-dozen in the race and probably won't be plunging on all of them (nb).

JP never bought her because he thinks she can win the National. She'll be running in the cross country next year at Cheltenham now his two others have seen better days.

LOL yeah he bought it a week before the national because he didnt think it would win so he could pay a much higher price for it rather than waiting till it had been beaten in the national and saving a few bob.
