Not sure what our trainer is up to. Dream Alliance could have run in the Bet365 from just 3lb out of the handicap (still 6lb lower than his last run), but instead we are going to Wetherby tomorrow for a race worth £3k to the winner!
Good luck all

Yes, bb, a bit of a sickener that one. Would have been a nice result too for my notebook thread (as well as my pocket!) on the horse racing forum.
Don't think book has posted yet, anyone got a wild card just in case?

Had a shocker on Saturday - didn't realise there were 2 wild cards needed. Not to worry, probably saved me from having to pick another loser.
Gone in early this week with Cahala Dancer, 4.15 Bath, on the nose.

gone for Bertiewhittle N2.30 - Barron's sprinters couldn't be in better form and he doesn't come south to the grade 1 tracks and leave emoty handed too often
GL to all pins today

If we need a wildcard or two later Thackeray - 5.50 Hyadock is a suggestion
Look out for Dream Alliance running tomorrow at Kelso. As always he's working well, but we're just hoping he shows it on the course.
Good luck all

One was a speculative punt at a price on Mezzanisi in the 4.50 at Epsom but out of time for that one.
The other I would quite fancy if it wasn't for his killer draw in 16 - Swilly Filly (5.25).
The last one is Invicible Don in the 5.20 Tramore, who definitely looks as if he can win a race of his mark judged on his second 2 starts back but hasn't run well the last twice (once over jumps). Which makes me wonder if he's being lined up for a punt at some point.

The finish was very much less than any of us would have wanted, but....
Highlight for me of the first half was Hoss popping in to say hello. A great guy and as good a reason as I can think of for looking forward to the resumption.
Enjoy the summer and see you in September.
Pins are always Shiny, sometimes Lucky, always Sharp.
