too be honest jc this is terrible for a weekend software crash must be most profitable time for there software i dont play many other sites than here when they changed too java seemed too resolve a lot of issues use guys play other sites can u tell me how often they need too shut the site to do maintenance or anything else just curios and how long this takes

joker I play on Stars, they do not close the site ever for maintenance. Ive never in my 4 years on Stars experienced one single problem (apart from the odd downswing) lol,. I havent played on betfair for a good while now, its just not worth the time and hassle and b4 any 1 asks why Im on the forum, I take good pleasure listening to ppl consistently moaning about the site but continuing to play here. Ffs, there are **** loads of other sites out there and none of which have the problems that this piece of **** does!

Like others I've cut right back on my spend here.Yeah the games are still soft, but the issues we been moaning about for 12 months still havent been addressed. We can't even get a one word announcement on the Forum explaining whats going on, unless I get off my arse and tell BF PR, who will then email the Helpdesk.

Quite simply (and ive said this before) Betfair are not interested in the poker side of things. Yes, they do make money from it, but nowhere near on the scale of the betting side, its just an added bonus to them. They do not need to spend money revamping something which ppl will play anyway, its as simple as that.

chip i know u do ur best for here and bf pr who is obviosly off for the weekend which id expect cant work 24/7 my problem is this maintanence happens about every six weeks and then site goes down afterwards for about another 24hrs at anytime i think there tech team is incompetent or just cant be bothered or outsourced and milking the golden cow this maintenence should be running with software in progress loads of other sites capable of doing it why not here

jc , is this really needed , im venting my views which are very valid and really could do without being trolled for it , obviously you have not lost any money recently due to these issues but i and many others have and if you was one of us i doubt very much u would be finding it so funny .

Im not finding it funny that you've lost money, its disgusting. The thing I find funny is the fact you and numerous others continue to play at a site where disconnections are more frequent than bad beats.

as i said above im stuck in a promotion at the moment which i think you and chip didnt quite understand , its the WSOP one run over 1O weeks and im 3 weeks into it currently in a 6.5k prize position and one place away from WSOP package so its not so easy to just walk away and play elsewhere , believe me once this is over with i am gone unless i see some drastic improvements to this site .

I think Ongame is a second rate network which is probably underfunded , and if you marry that with BF's long standing reputation for shyte customer service, you have a recipe for disater.
You are probably right about the technical side of things. God alone knows why it takes 12 months to introduce something basic like late registration or synchronised breaks for MTT's, but clearly it does.
The company I work for provides voice and data for many of the top UK companies, and if the customer wants solutions to problems it's our job to provide them ASAP. God only knows who is responsible for the BF skin and the Ongame network, but they must be complete cowboys.
