If you write a post, and it contains any of our banned words it will get removed.
I have no issue with people writing negative things about Betfair Poker so long as they are fair and balanced and do not contain any banned words.

r i g g ed is a banned word for several reasons.
Firstly, let me stress that our forum is a place for open and honest discussions.
The word is often used in a negative way to accuse us / players /events and software or being unfair.


The term itself is a highly evocative word.
We do not (as is often assumed) stop people using this word to protect accusations against us BUT instead to prevent people using it so that they do not have a potential libel case (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defamation)brought against them.

Please remember that a forum is a place for debate but do not make unsubstantiated accusations against individuals or companies.
There are official channels for this.

Can you refer me to any instance of a forum poster on any site being sued for libel following accusations of a ragged deal?

People accuse sites of being ragged constantly. By writing the word like shudacuda has or I have or by using words that aren't prohibited. Do these posters even get banned for that misdemeanor alone?

You only have to scroll down to find topics about Betfair/Ongame cheating by not having random deals. Those threads have not been deleted. Why not?

Personally I'd quite like to see action taken against the rigtards and I don't know why sites put up with it but the fact is that you do.

Clearly you won't sue anyone since, as you say, you don't mind accusations. So are you concerned that Ongame might sue posters or sue Betfair for publishing the libel?
